Zebra NailArt & Design

Some shots were downright ugly, but some proved very nice. Below are some of the best images taken for the portfolio:

The latest of the shots. Entitled "short french" or something to that extent

This is also the first time that I've shot the nails using my home-made lightbox (pre new dispersion materials) Lit with 2 lamps from left to right with no overhead diffuser

The focus was quite terrible with this one, too narrow of an aperture, but it was shot with no tripod in natural daylight.

Against a black piece of paper, no lightbox, dark room and flash.

Simply shot on a piece of blank A4 printing paper in natural light. Levels slightly adjust in PS.

This one was was shot against a white wall, but after flash and level adjustments it darkened while the highlights were a little blown.

Also shot simply on a piece of A4 paper, pre-lightbox. The focus on this image was not too great, but I compensated with negative clarity adjustment for a 'bloom' effect.

Hopefully, I will continue to take images for her expanding portfolio, and her client-base will also expand prompting more opportunities to take photos for her clients.
